Presentation of the LabCom :<\/b><\/h5>\n

With the success of IntuiScript<\/b> project (PIA2, digital notebook for learning writing<\/a> , kaligo<\/a>), the IntuiDoc<\/a> team from IRISA laboratory (UMR 6074) and Learn&Go\/Script&Go <\/a> company created the \u00ab\u202fScript&Labs<\/b>\u202f\u00bb LabCom to innovate on Digital Learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n\u00a0 IntuiDoc<\/b> team from IRISA laboratory has been a leader for more than 20 years in online analysis and recognition of writing and handwritten documents. Thanks to its expertise in Artificial Intelligence <\/b>and more specifically in Machine Learning<\/b>, it designs recognition and analysis engines allowing automated interpretation of online traces using pen-based tablets : handwriting, gestures, symbols, sketches, architecture plans\u2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
\"\"<\/a><\/td>\n\u00a0 Learn&Go <\/b>company, related to Script&Go, is specialized in developing digital solutions on tablets for mobility and e-education, aiming to improve learning through digital tools, from pre-schools to graduate higher education as well as in professional training.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

The scientific principles of the joint laboratory belong to artificial intelligence <\/b>(pattern recognition<\/b>, Machine Learning<\/b>) and man-agent interaction<\/b>. Interpretation, adaptation and learning <\/b>are the heart of its researches, aiming to conceive automated interpretation systems for children productions : writing, arithmetic operations, geometric figures. This scientific know-how form the foundation of new solutions in Digital Learning<\/b>\u202f leading to more independence and customisation for each student learning process.<\/p>\n

The results of the joint laboratory will directly be used in innovating educational modules focusing in active learning, handwritten input, analysis and personalised help via immediate\u202ffeedback on student production.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

Three lines have been currently chosen :<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. writing learning for young children<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. learning numbers and first arithmetic calculations<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. geometry learning by “generative drawing”<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Beyond these three lines, LabCom Script&Labs helps working on “active and collaborative learning from secondary school to higher education”<\/strong> through e-Fran \u00ab\u00a0Actif\u00a0\u00bb et Cominlabs \u00ab\u00a0e-Fil\u00a0\u00bb projects.<\/p>\n
